Short-Term Rental Licence Application

Welcome to the online application for a Short-Term Rental Accommodation Licence in the Town of Gravenhurst.

Before proceeding, please review By-law 2022-58 To Licence and Regulate Short-Term Rentals within the Town of Gravenhurst. The By-law provides information on what documents are required for submission.

 

As per section 1.1 (w): "Short-Term Rental Accommodation (or STRA) means the use of a dwelling unit that operates of offers a place of temporary residence, lodging or occupancy by way of concession, permit, lease, licence, rental agreement, or similar commercial arrangement for any period equal to or less than twenty-eight (28) consecutive calendar days, throughout all or any part of the calendar year, unless otherwise prohibited by this By-law or any other By-law of the Town of Gravenhurst."

In order to be eligible for consideration, all Short-Term Rental Licence Applicants must complete and submit the following application form, including all applicable documents outlined in By-law 2022-58.

PLEASE NOTE:

An application submission does not guarantee a licence. Most applications receive a response within 5 business days.

The application must be submitted before the session ends. There is no save feature to resume an application at a later time.

Licence fee: $750.00

Licence Duration: January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023
