Request for Deputation

Complete this application to request a deputation to council.

Completed Deputation Request forms must be received by the Legislative Services Department by no later than noon on the Friday prior to the scheduled meeting.

12 copies of all handouts are to be provided prior to the meeting. Digital presentations should be emailed to the Legislative Services Department no later than noon on the Monday prior to the scheduled meeting.

 In accordance with the Procedural By-law, the Legislative Services Department has the discretion to reschedule or deny an appearance before Council where: 

• the number of deputations is greater than Council has established;
• the topic is not within the jurisdiction of the Council;
• the person has exceeded the number of permitted appearances; and/or
• the matter requires additional consultation with staff and a report to accommodate the request.
